She may be adept at engineering, but I don't think she is very smart because she obviously fails to understand the concept of context. What is funny in the cloister of your college dorm is not funny in a post 9-11 airport. Nobody knows you in the airport, nobody gets your inbred little jokes or cares about them. If you want to be smart you have to understand where you are and what is going on around you, smart is a movable feast.
