If the hsu were on the other foot ---- if Hillary were being prosecuted for violations of campaign finance laws ---- you KNOW that Norman Hsu would also be charged as an accessory.

If he was using her, she was using him too, and it's arguable which one of them actually received and spent the larger amount of cash.

He was criminally raising money for her, and she was enabling his crimes. She was what made his dough-raking possible on the scale he had reached. Both should be charged, both received illegal monies and encouraged the activity.

That's not even counting what might turn up in deeper investigations.

Where's the headline?

HILL
KNEW

So these investors believed Hillary & the other Dem’s when they praised Hsu as “trustworty”. Sounds like some quid pro quo going on here - however, any investor who is influenced by the endorsement of/association with Democrat politicians, deserves to lose every stinking cent they invest. Stupidity has consequences.

LIFE AND TIMES OF NORMAN HSU

Early life

1973: Earns bachelor of arts in computer science from University of California-Berkeley.

1976-1984: Has a California real estate sales license.

1981: Earns a business degree from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School.

Legal troubles

1982-1987: Hsu is a partner in apparel and real estate companies in Southern California and the Bay Area, several of which dissolve, leaving Hsu in debt for more than $750,000.

1987-1989: Moves to Foster City and recruits investors for new apparel and real estate businesses.

Feb. 13, 1990: A Southern California man files suit accusing Hsu of using a forged document to obtain an $85,000 loan secured by a San Carlos condominium.

Aug. 3, 1990: Hsu files for bankruptcy, owing creditors, including his father-in-law and ex-girlfriend, $1.6 million.

Aug. 28, 1990: Tells police he was kidnapped by captors connected to his creditors. Charges against them are later dropped.

Conviction and flight

1992: Pleads no contest to a grand theft charge, agreeing to serve up to three years in prison and pay $1 million in restitution.

1992: Fails to appear for sentencing; San Mateo County judge issues a bench warrant for Hsu’s arrest.

1992 to late 1990s: Authorities believe he is living in Asia.

Late 1990s to 2000: Returns to United States, spending time in New York and California.
2004-2007: Helps Bay Area Democrats raise money for Sen. Hillary Clinton, U.S. Rep. Mike Honda, D-Campbell, and others.

The past catches up

Aug. 31: Turns himself in to the San Mateo County Superior Court, posts $2 million bail.

Sept. 5: Fails to appear for sentencing; judge issues another warrant for his arrest. Hsu mails an apologetic letter to friends, who describe it as a possible suicide note.

Sept. 6: Surfaces in Colorado, where he is taken off an Amtrak train and hospitalized for undisclosed medical treatment.

Sept. 10: Clinton announces she will return $850,000 that Hsu ostensibly raised from 260 individual donors. Authorities are investigating Hsu business ventures in New York and Southern California.

Wednesday: Hsu appears in a Colorado courtroom and waives extradition.

Thursday: Hsu returns to San Mateo County.

Friday: Hsu appears in a San Mateo County courtroom, where his attorney called for dismissal of Hsu’s 1992 fraud conviction.

Okay, you PhotoShop genuises, we need a graphic of Hillary reminiscient of THE RIME OF THE ANCIENT MARINER. Instead of an albatross handing around her neck, there needs to be several shoes around her neck.

Since the contributions to the Democrats were coerced... does that mean they have to give it back?

A Laguna Beach investment firm filed a lawsuit against Democratic fundraiser Norman Hsu on Friday, claiming he defrauded investors out of at least $23 million and required them to donate to Democratic candidates.

WoW! I only knew about the $2.5 million in illegal campaign contributions. This is much, much worse. The house of cards is really starting to crumble.

Talk about corrupt. The RATS were all jacked up over Abramoff and his $3 million dollar contributions. The GOP has people in prison for their part, and Tom DeLay was forced to resign over Abramoff. We better see some heads roll over this and several RATS should go to prison too.

WTH?? Is this a REAL company or another shell? How come no website? How come no info at all on the company? Something smells to high heaven here! Do the investors even have standing to bring a lawsuit as a group? What the hell is going on here??
