The Mohammedan heresy is doomed. Christ will destroy Mohammedanism, just as He destroyed Mithraism, Catharism, Arianism, and all the other heresies that have risen against Him.

"I guess that since we Buddhists haven't risen up against anyone, we didn't make your list, eh?" Just God's list. Buddhism is idolatry. You'll just parish along with the rest of the world at the end. You can't be saved if you don't believe.

You'd think a Buddhist would be interested in the spiritual transformation that happens at the end of time, since Buddhists believe in the continuation of the spirit after death. But I guess it's your lack of understanding of what the Gospel teaches that leads you to think Christianity is something that it is not.

From a Christian point of view, Buddhism isn't a heresy, because it isn't a mistaken religious belief held in a spirit of deliberate opposition to orthodox Christianity. To the extent that Buddhism is not theistic (correct me here if I'm wrong) it's in a different ballpark altogether.

I always thought it among the noblest of man-made philosophies.
