Muslims Are Seeing Jesus During Ramadan
Afghanjohn's Weblog ^ | September 22, 2007 | John Marion

For an number of years I've heard many reports about Muslims who have dreams about Jesus during Ramadan, the Islamic month of fasting.

According to a September 21 report in Christian World News, Brother Andrew of Open Doors International said, "Jesus often appears in a vision or in a dream, especially in this time of Ramadan. They're so concentrated on spiritual things and on heavenly things and on the God they're seeking. Every Muslim is still a seeker for God, and then it so often happens, all over the Muslim world, that Jesus appears and they get a changed heart or a strong desire to follow that man who was in my room, who said, 'I'm Jesus, I came to heal you, I came to save you, I died for you, I want you to be with me in heaven.'"

During the month of Ramadan, many Muslims are seeking for an experience with God. They hope that God will be near to them, especially on the "night of power", which is believe by Muslims to be the day Mohammed supernaturally received the Quran.

For several decades now, Christians have organized to pray for Muslims during the month of Ramadan. This year the initiative led by 30-Days International is dubbed "Loving Muslims Through Prayer".

According to The Christian Post, "Some former Muslims who lived in areas where they have no contact with Christians and no chance of hearing the Gospel have said they had dreams and visions of Jesus which spurred them to seek more information about Jesus Christ, eventually resulting in their conversion."

Indeed Muslims around the world are discovering the truth of Jesus Christ. And in doing so, their lives are changed and they experience the reality written by the Apostle Paul 2,000 years ago to the early Christians:

"Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, shall guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:6-7)

I’ve seen this reality in the lives of former Muslims around the world. Some are bold witnesses for the risen Jesus. They have carefully considered the cost of discipleship and have taken up their cross as followers of Christ.

And they are shaking the Islamic world at its very foundations.

Now now, be nice... don't go around calling us "benign" when everyone knows that once we attain a majority we're just going to re-implement the Inquisition and persecute the bejezus out of you God-fearing Bible Believers... ;) < /sarcasm >

I like this article. Thank you.

Muslims say they celebrate death, they welcome it - they drive themselves mad or send others out for them to obtain death.

Christ reminds us He conquered death, so we need not fear.

Blessed be the name of the Lord!

"Liberals"? Now that's below the belt... everyone knows that true Catholics are Conservatives in the most Traditional sense...

Just remember, though... no one expects the Spanish Inquisition... our chief element is surprise, surprise and...

Jesus is already in their pantheon and has nothing to do with Christianity.

No, kidding. We just can’t kill the bad ones fast enough so we gotta use prayer to reach the rest. It’s a true quagmire.

"There are a lot of Muslims who are genuinely spiritual (as opposed to those who affiliate with Islam for the discipline and the political mass movement aspect) and it does not surprise me at all that in searching for ultimate Truth, many actually find it."

You had better brush up on your Islam. The "Jesus" muslims believe in fits the profile of the false prophet in Christian bible prophacy. He comes and destroys the Christian church (Muslims see him breaking the cross) and converts the world to Islam, Takes over the vatican and takes the throne of the church and declares himself God. He's the one that brings famine and misery to the entire world, brings about the mark of the beast. All those who refuse to accept his mark and bow to him are murdered.

Sorry to dash your hopes, but there is no such thing as a "good Islam", There is only one koran, it cannot be abrogated. Allah is the name of it's "god'(Satan)and Muhammad, mass murdering, thief, womanizing pedophile that he was is his prophet.

You might enjoy this book (free online) about the last days of this world and what this false prophet (the muslim "Jesus") does.

"For a lot of the Muslims who discover that Jesus Himself is the Truth, their lives are in danger."

Lets just hope they are finding the true Jesus and his gospel, not the one Muslims believe in.

A Muslim would no longer call himself a Muslim if he found the Lord. If they still call themselves Muslims, then they have found the wrong Jesus.

The picture of the Muslim Ka'aba converted into A Christian site posted by B chan is amusing, but it's not what the bible teaches.

"You can add Catholicism to that list."

No you can't. It is Peter's church. The Vatican represents Christs church on earth and plays out to the very end in revelations and other prophecy. The Catholic church preaches the gospel as all churches should. You are doing a disservice to God and working against his plan when you engage in church bashing, so be careful. You may not agree with the catholic churches politics, thats fine, but it has nothing to do with the main perpose of the church, which is to bring people to hear the gospel of Christ.
The Catholic church as most any church which preaches the gospel of Christ is a gathering place for sinners, not a museum for saints.

Bash the ones which don't preach the gospel of Christ, and instead lead people away from it. " "Axes deep in the wood, hacking at the panels, they battered them down with mallet and hatchet; then, God, setting fire to your sanctuary, they profanely razed the house of your name to the ground. Determined to destroy us once and for all, they burned down every shrine of God in the country." (Ps.74:1-23).

"I guess that since we Buddhists haven't risen up against anyone, we didn't make your list, eh?" Just God's list. Buddhism is idolatry. You'll just parish along with the rest of the world at the end. You can't be saved if you don't believe.

You'd think a Buddhist would be interested in the spiritual transformation that happens at the end of time, since Buddhists believe in the continuation of the spirit after death. But I guess it's your lack of understanding of what the Gospel teaches that leads you to think Christianity is something that it is not.

The church didn’t implement the inquestions in the first place, why would it do so in the future?
The inqusitions were ordered by the king, not the Church. The church had no part in it at all.

when the Spanish over-threw the Mohammadans, they purged the country of those Islamic soothsayers.

The Church did not order anyone to be put to death, despite what ever twisted history you’ve been taught. There is absolutely no evidence to support that claim.

Dude, you can buy deodorant for a pig, show him how to use it, sprinkle potpourri in his pen: he’s still gonna stink and worse yet be proud of the stench. Nice of you to try, but it’s a hopeless cause you undertook here.

Maybe, but sometimes you would be suprized what I can accomplish. Then again, some are beyond all hope of Salvation. They love to bash the church, they are satans helpers through and through. They never stop to think however, that evil sometimes infiltrates the church, such as a pedophile infiltrates a school, a coaches position, a boy scout leader. They use these positions of authority of children to work their evil. It is a very small percentage that infiltrate the churches however.

Another fact that eludes them is that 99.999% of pedophiles are athiests, as are fags, serial killers, as were all the worlds most evil people throughout history.

History shows that The light of Christ, his church on earth (Christianity) was the most peacefull time the earth has ever known and is what brought Europe together long enough for the western world to develop to what is is today, wich is now unfortunately falling to pieces because of the rejection of Christs Gospel.

But that is what Christ said will happen. we are now in the days leading up to Armageddon. The great revolt is well under way.

All we can do now is pray the world finds renewed faith, which is the only thing that holds off what God say WILL happen, if it isn't too late already.

But do they listen to Jesus? I think not.

The encounter often freaks them out and this begins their journey to discover the truth. Not all will come to complete faith and "listen to Jesus", as you put it. But many do. In any case, the whole conversion process for a Muslim is a very long process most of the time. The discipleship process also takes a lot of time.
