One thing is for sure. The Syrians realize they cannot prevent Israel from attacking them by air, and that does hold a lot of weight in how far Syria could be willing to go.
I am sure the Israeli shall continue to prevent any level of parity to develop between the two countries. Obviously they cannot afford that kind of scenario.
