Perhaps you have to have lived in NYC before and after Rudy to appreciate his effectiveness and his hostility to criminals. And again, look at the alternatives. The other viable Republicans have equally sketchy 2A records (but little or no record of effectiveness/aggressiveness in crime reduction), and the viable Democrats are openly pro-”gun control”.
