Over the last two days The Oregon Poll was seen by almost 400 "unique visitors," most of them in support of Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul. The majority of these people came from these two links on the web.

Good thinkin!
BTT.
OK, this video is almost encoded, so I really need to think about finishing that for the next hour, so I'll leave playing with the kids to you all.
(Guess they are Truthers huh?)
Most of the members of PNAC have stated their positions in books and other writings. They believe in a Machiavellian foreign policy. Boggles my mind that freepers would support a Machiavellian foreign policy.
****Between his anti-semitism and his newsletters saying things like 95 percent of the black males in Washington, D.C. are semi-criminal or entirely criminal, it’s no wonder he’s built up such a fervent following of Neo-Nazis.****
The source of that newsletter is well known, but the Paul haters continue to bring it up.
****His supporters are a scourge on society with their blackshirt antics, crashing campaign events, disingenuously passing themselves off as legitimate concerned Republicans, and clogging our forum and polls with their filth.
I really wish they would go away, every last one of them.
They are no different than DUmmies and Kossacks, and most of the time are one and the same.
They are the natural enemies of FreeRepublic, and should be treated as such.****
I have never seen or heard of any RP supporters saying the equivalent of freep this poll.
****It is time we take the forum back. We didn’t put up with it from Deaniacs, so why must we put up with it now that they’ve returned in the name of Ron Paul?****
As I have said before, I was a long time poster on Townhall which I still consider the best (and a very conservative) forum ever on the Internet. For several years, it was almost completely a self policing forum. If some idiot came on the forum, he was either ignored or defeated by reasoned arguments. It is hard for me to imagine that a forum that advocates free speech would bar almost any type of discussion. However, this is a private forum, so it can do whatever it wants. When TH was in the process of shutting down, a lot of the TH posters went to the Democratic forum. Most, if not all, (including myself) were barred for life from the demo forum.
From what I have seen on this forum over the last few weeks is that the RP supporters have been very reasoned in their arguments. It is the anti RP people who have resorted to name calling and derogatory comments, which has never been a very good or effective debating tactic.
Thought so dude...
Nut job stands before an audience of right wing Christians and tells them he won’t vote for an amendent to the
Constitution defining marriage. Nutjob stands alone on the same stage and says he will not vote to prevent cable televison from having pornographic progams for adults. Nutjobstands on the same stage to tell Evangicals he does not support an abortion amendment even though nutjob is pro life. Nutjob stands on the same stage listining to a tearjierker of a story and voted to not support taxpayer money or troops to help the folks in the Sudan. Nutjob believes we should tend to America first to not become involved in foreign entanglements.
As for porn, and abortion, and defining a marriage, Nutjob stood alone to explain these are matters for the people and the states, and not authorized by the Constitution to attempt to define or control them at a federal level.
Nutjob is a Constitutionalist who defends America and the Constitution first. Nutjob just celebrated his golden anniversary. That’s committment in some circles. Nutjob has 5 children. Three of the 5 are doctors who worked they way thru school without govt assistance. Nutjob has 18 grandchildren.
Nutjob has a voting record in congress that reflects his unrelenting respect for the Constitution. Nut job has a record as a father and husband being married for 50 years and dearly loved by his family. Nutjob will not take his congressional pension. He believes that is robbing from the taxpayer since to serve in public service should not be a path to riches, power, glory, and a golden retirement, but a public service to the people.
You oppose these principles. That is your perogative. I respect them and believe in them as a father and grandfather married 35 years.
Dr. Paul took a solemn oath to defend the Constitution. So did I. He’s still doing it, and so am I along with millions of present and past veterans who agree with Dr. Paul.
This is war. Get ready. The death of socialism, the nanny state, and the police state is upon you. I realize you are scared, but there is nothing to fear in the Constitution, freedom, and liberty. This is how it began, and this is how it shall continue.
OK dudette
BTTT!
I must be off as well, need some sleep. Be an interesting next few days.
If only we could drag all this out into the open, including his support at DU with Air America , and the storm trooper crowd.
I have been thinking that this Paul thing was mostly harmless, I’m the guy that posted that he was being interviewed by Medved. I figured these guys are passionate but after the primaries they will relax.
Now with FR getting spammed and getting new weirdos waving their swastikas trying to sign up, I am full of disgust for this entire Ron Paul game.
It is time for these people to grow up and join the adults or join one of their bizarre groups, but back off of FR.
Wow, you are like too cool...
Where did the poster to which you posted say he opposed the principles you are advocating? Come on, you can form a better argument than that.
“There is enough evidence to suggest that this is not a moonbat conspiracty theory.”
***Just stating that proves that you’re a moonbat.***
Perhaps you should do a bit more surfing of the internet. Worldnetdaily has been talking about this for a long time. You might not like Worldnet, but it is not a moonbat site.
Pods?
Most of the members of PNAC have stated their positions in books and other writings. They believe in a Machiavellian foreign policy. You're calling Dick Cheney Machiavellian?
The source was the office of Congressman Ron Paul.
The source of that newsletter is well known, but the Paul haters continue to bring it up.
As JimRob has stated clearly several times, FR is not a free-speech soapbox for leftists, racists, and nutjobs to spout off
It is hard for me to imagine that a forum that advocates free speech would bar almost any type of discussion.
That is because Ron Paul and his supporters don't merit anything above derision.
It is the anti RP people who have resorted to name calling and derogatory comments
When did you sign up? I've respected Ron Paul and his views for a long time on FR, and enjoyed good healthy debate on his ideas.
This hate mongering on Ron Paul is new to the forum. Pretty much as new as his announcement. I do agree with you, there are a lot of new Ron Paul weirdos latching on to him. But what can I do, the stupid weirdo vote count too. Do I like them, not really, I don't think they understand the whole of his complex plan.
Now give me that Romney quote, please.
If you want to defend or oppose my post, go for it. No one is stopping you from expressing yourself regarding your beliefs. But your above suggests you don't have anyting to offer beyond one liner quips of disparage. I give you substance and you give what?
Give be a break.
Offhand, I'd venture there have been more threads about Ron Paul posted here by anti-Paulists than by his few but determnined backers. And there can be absolutely no doubt where the keyword abuse is coming from. This is one of the few threads that the keyword clowns left alone for some reason.
Ron Paul is running as an anti-establishment candidate, just as another Ronald did 32 years ago. Ronald Reagan was trying to beat an incumbent Republican president, and the establishment was really po'd about it. But as I recall, it never got as ugly as some of the accusations made, right here on FreeRepublic, against a 10-term Congressman who has refused to knuckle under and go along to get along for his entire time in Washington. He doesn't make deals, swap votes, or cater to the lobbyists. The lobbyists leave him alone, in fact, because they already know he won't trade votes for campaign money.
Now you may have disagreements with what Ron Paul represents, and that's entirely your prerogative. But if you for one minute suggest that Ron Paul is a closet racist, a nazi, or a friend of brownshirts you will be called on it.
***This is war. Get ready. The death of socialism, the nanny state, and the police state is upon you. I realize you are scared, but there is nothing to fear in the Constitution, freedom, and liberty. This is how it began, and this is how it shall continue.***
Excellent post.
