A couple who fear their child could inherit a rare form of Alzheimer's are to undergo embryo screening to eliminate the risk. And how, pray tell, does embryo screening "eliminate the risk"?

You “eliminate the risk” (of whatever) by eliminating the life. God help us.

And how, pray tell, does embryo screening "eliminate the risk"?The only risks that this eliminates are:
- That this child will have an opportunity to embrace Life.
- That this child will have an opportunity to contribute great works to humanity.
- That this child will be able to avail him or herself of possible cures for Alzheimers ( should they even be necessary) that may be developed over the course of the next half-century.
