The noose incident had nothing to do with the beating incident. The FBI and DOJ investigated and found no evidence linking the two incidents. The kid they ganged up on had nothing to do with any of the incidents.
Mychal Bell has four prior convictions. He’s on probation until he’s 18. Two for battery, scuttlebutt says one for sexual assault of a young black girl, and two for criminal property damage. This kid has been given many opportunities to get his life together. He should have been in jail already.

I know they didn’t but thanks for the reminder. My point is that these people are protesting the prosecution of assault with the intent to kill because they believe other kids who hung a noose on a tree deserve something more than they got, as though the two crimes are in any way within the same level of criminal acts.
