To defend themselves from parasites like Edwards, doctors now pay hundreds of thousands of dollars in medical malpractice insurance every year.

Yet when the insurance industry succeeds in placing caps on medical malpractice in a given state, for some reason the rates for the insurance never seem to go down...(thats a true fact, by the way).

Seems to be true with everything. They toot cheap alternative to everything; but the price only gets higher.

What an ignorant comment. Texas rates have gone down every year for the past 5 years since reform.
