It’s great propaganda for him no matter the result. If he visits and is heckled, then it’s US hatred for Iran. If denied visit, then it’s US hatred for Iran. If he visits with a private guided tour -we’re sheep for the slaughter!!!
Not really. Accepting his request would have been perceived as sign of our weakness. The converse is also true.
