No good deed goes unpunished. Only in America.

There’s no reason she should have been shocked 10 times. Absolutely not

Add to that she was wheelchair bound. Once would have been enough.

And exactly what form of logic allowed you to come this conclusion? I could've disarmed a 56 year old woman in a wheelchair by myself if the only weapons she had was knives and hammers. I could probably do it without killing her too.

They should've just used the shotgun in the patrol car. It would've been more humane than being tasered 10 times until your heart failed.

The victim called the police. Her family did NOT.

From the article:In a 911 call made to the Green Cove Springs, Delafield can be heard telling a dispatcher that she believed she was in danger:

Within an hour of her call to 911, Delafield, a wheelchair-bound woman documented to have mental illness, was dead.

According to the story about the victim was the one who called the cops. While I think a taser was appropriate. I know for a fact that the amount of tasering done way exceeds the manufacturers guidelines for proper use of the device.

The female police officer directly contributed to the death that woman. She should be sued by the family. If it is found by the investigation that her training or supervision were faulty then the local PD should also be sued.

It looks like the woman’s death was preventable.

The dead woman was the 911 caller. She said family members, i.e., her sister was waiting on her property to harm her. This called for some cool handling, not a convenient taser--didn't happen.
