The TRUE noah story is easy enough to see, hidden within the myth-lies : The Indus River, a major river system, has a silty delta region like the Nile, Mississippi, other major rivers that empty into the ocean. Unlike the Nile it floods irregularly from rains/precip in the northern mountains. Thus noah(his father/grand father)had been flooded out before, thus his 3 layer log raft(8’wide/45’ long/4’ high)was on the high point of his land, tied to an orchard tree base, complete w/goat skin tent; all ready for the next Indus RIVER flood.
Along comes a real cyclone, 4 days of rain and storm surge of 20’(15 cubits = tops of his orchard trees). This very thing happened in Bangladesh(eastern pakistan)in 1970, thousands died when the storm surge swept over their low-lying islands. This is 5000 years ago and the different polar jet stream pattern meant hurricanes hit western pakistan more frequently.
Thus as the floodwaters rise all the farm animals, even snakes, head for the raft on the high point. Noah has to cut his anchor line(being dragged under by the current)and thus out to sea the raft goes. There are similar stories like this from the 1900 Galveston hurricane : people miraculously survive from being washed out to sea. Noah was your basic BE PREPARED boy scout, but he was prepared for a RIVER flood, not a 20’ deep storm surge that wiped out/depopulated the entire delta region. Remember Katrina? And this was LONG before our modern hurricane warning systems. Remember Camille?

God did not say what you said He did to Israel, He said it to Abram, so you put forth an untruth. I have no way of knowing, could well have been in ignorance or might be your 'scientific method' of what you claim 'critical, analytical thought process'.
John 8:32 Christ speaking .."And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." This refers back to John 1:14 where we are told "And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and *TRUTH*.
Of course if one keeps reading in this chapter that WORD/truth out of Christ's mouth would make many squirm. Christ also said in another place that He foretold us all things, before one Word of that so called New Testament ever got penned.
Now what is this so called scientific method you espouse?
Christ said when asked what would be the signs of His return that one of those signs was that it would be as in the days of Noe(Noah). A promise has already been given there would not be another literal flood like in Noah's days, but what would be is a flood of lies that deluged the minds of the masses. Further the activity that caused that repentance that God ever made man in this flesh body that brought forth the flood would be occurring again. Has NOT happened yet.

What exactly does the The Indus River system have to do with the causation for that flood?

Paul says that all that is Written that happened to them is for our admonition (warning) as to what would be again to bring in the end of this age. (ICorinthians 10:11) Like I told you before the amount of water and geography covered is not the point, rather the reason and that flood of water is symbolic of the flood of lies to be allowed to cause a spiritual blindness to all but the elect. Noah's flood only describes 8 souls being saved from that flood. However, given what is demonstrated by DNA and Noah and his family being perfect in their generations says more than just 8 flesh human beings survived that deluge.
