That last health care plan was 2100 pages, or 1200 pages, something like that. This is just going to be a “blueprint.” She’s going to let congressional committees fill in the details, which means — what wacko in the Senate runs that committee? I know in the House it’s John Dingell that would be in charge of it. Who runs the health committee in the Senate? That’s right, it’s Kennedy’s committee! So Teddy Kennedy would be plugging in the details. That’s what she says, and that’s to keep the heat off of her, when this happened. As I mentioned, folks, if you get out the Constitution and you look at it, you will not find where it outlines, or experiments, or specifies the federal government is granted the power to force citizens to buy anything, let alone a health insurance policy. Now, I can’t find it in my Constitution. There’s nothing in there that says it. In fact, the whole Constitution was written to limit the power of the federal government, and now we supposedly can find a way in there that the federal government can make you buy anything. Once you let them tell you that you have to buy health insurance, what the hell else are they going to then tell you you have to buy once the precedent is set?

Be afraid . . . . . . . be VERY afraid. Her last run at this which, fortunately, collapsed, ran over 1400 pages and INCLUDED over 700 pages of penalties for those who didn’t follow the rules (The Clintons, their friends and family, interestingly enough, were excluded from the provisions of the healthcare plan she thought was good enough for everyone else!).
The rules included such juicy items as regionalized healthcare and payments based on the per capita income of a region of the country; criminal penalties for those who attempted to go outside of her healthcare system, criminal penalties for doctors who provided treatment outside of the healthcare system, and requiring American citizens to get permission from the government before traveling outside of their region (ostensibly due to the cost differences from region to region, in the event that you are sick or injured while traveling).
If you love the way the government (FEMA) handled Katrina (regardless of the truth of the issue); if you think that government healthcare (such as that provided by the VA such as 25 - 30 year-old treatment options) is the best there is, you’ll LOVE Hillary Healthcare. So, be fully prepared to pull the lever for Dumb and Dumber in November 2008 and be proud of taking part of destroying the best healthcare system there is.
There is a reason that many of the world’s socialist healthcare systems are failing and the victims . . . . . er, patients of those healthcare hellholes come to the US for real medical treatment.
Also, notice that the discussion of socialized medicine revolves around the number of people lacking health INSURANCE!! Insurance, whether for health or goat “gifts”, is NOT a right!! If we fall for this sham, why does she limit her healthcare scam to just health insurance!!?? Why not demand that the government provide car insurance (look at the numbers of people who can’t/won’t carry auto insurance) or home insurance or life insurance or . . . . . . .
