Why is that if you don’t mind my asking, I can see that you are a Chaplain ret.

That is if one can ever really retire from that service.

Retired from the Army only; I am still a fulltime pastor.

The Chaplain in question, Klingenschmitt, gained notoriety for disobeying a reasonable order. While his desire to have everyone permitted to pray in Jesus’ name is the correct position, that is not why he was released from active duty.

That is twofold:

He disobeyed a lawful order NOT to participate in a non-military media event while in uniform, something we all know is forbidden any soldier, especially an officer,

AND

HIS DENOMINATION refused to recertify him to be an active duty Chaplain (for some unstated reason of their own.)
