This plan would make the economy tank. Raising the capital gains tax rate is just plain stupid, but leftist Democraps never learn.

Indeed they don’t, but they want everyone to make the same mistakes they made

This is redefining the middle class. Does $200,000 for a family of five in San Fransisco or New York put them in the privileged class?

Well, Republican/conservative journalists, pundits, and voters DID elect Rangel to the Chairmanship in 06.

After the bravado of “teach them a lesson”, we now get whining and sniveling.

Yep, that’s our government. Everything for them; nothing for us.

You are so correct - I’ve read dozens of posts over the last week that since Republicans didn’t stay true to small gov’t principles they deserved to lose. I’ve continually asked the question “And Democrats deserve to win” ?

The most common answer was an avoidance of the fact that Democrats will do worse things than RINO Republicans.

It’s not who you vote for, its who you elect.

Democrats didn’t win because they deserved to win. I think they won because they devised and executed a winning strategy

Unlike the Republican Ways and Means chairmen who preceded him over the previous 12 years, Rangel has a comprehensive tax strategy and a tactical game plan.

Rangel needs to be stopped. But, while we're at it, maybe we could learn a thing or two from him.

Their strategy was to elect DINOs to closely-fought districts. It may come back to haunt them, though they have stronger whips than the Republicans.

“This plan would make the economy tank.....”

More than stupid...think malignant. Dems only find opportunity in their fellow Americans’ misery....

I was thinking the history made was a sitting Senator being charged with treason for his slander and vile words against our troops and the GWOT.

Yes it does and that is why they pay the AMT.

$200k for a family of five in San Francisco puts them in Fresno.

I live near Mark Foley’s distric, and the R’s have hammered his Dem successor since the day he was elected with radio ads. They are not asleep.

“$200k for a family of five in San Francisco puts them in Fresno.”

Fresno? More like Madera!
