Dozens of angry, loud people stood on each side of a Simi Valley church's driveway using bullhorns and overworked vocal cords to hurl insults at each other in an immigration protest Sunday.
They faced off at the United Church of Christ, where a congregation of about 80 people is sheltering an illegal immigrant from Oxnard and her U.S.-born infant son. Wanted for deportation, the woman is living in the church's former parsonage as part of a national New Sanctuary Movement aimed at keeping families together.
The protest was organized by an anti-illegal immigration group called Save Our State that came with the hopes of making a citizen's arrest. Members were met by a small but loud group of counterprotesters calling for amnesty and the end of deportation raids.

Photo -- Naui Huitzilopochtli of Westminster was sprayed in the face with a chemical agent as he demonstrated at the United Church of Christ. He was taken by ambulance to Simi Valley Hospital. Police said the spraying was being investigated.

Maybe it’s better this way...the government continuing to refuse to enforce the law, and an enraged citizenry taking matters into their own hands. I just hope when the dam breaks that those same citizens storm the Congress and drag the amnesty traitors out for a good old fashioned tar and feathering.

BTW, Fairfax County, Virginia honors Hispanics. The Board of Supervisors of Fairfax Ct. declared Sept. 15 - Oct. 15 "Hispanic Heritage Month." Is it legal for public officials to honor just one ethnic groups and none of the others?
They were reported to say they want to "honor" Hispanic culture "at a time when neighboring counties have recently been hostile to their own Latino communities." This official of The Board of Supervisors (Gerry Connoll? Penny Gross?) is lying. I live in the area and none of the counties are hostile to law-abiding Hispanics.
Penny Gross raved about the contributions or recent Hispanic immigrants but failed to mention anything specific or the short article failed to mention to what she was referring.

We drove by this protest on our way home from church yesterday. When we saw the signs (one was “Even Heaven has a gate”), we made a u-turn, drove by slowly with thumbs up and. The group was very large, and there were a LOT of Hispanice people participating.
Here’s my standard post. Plus I’m pinging BCSCO for the AFIRE ping list. Hopefully, more citizens will start seeking recourse in the law like this group did.

The pattern of racketeering activity is defined as commission of two or more of the listed crimes. A RICO enterprise can be any individual legal entity, or a group of individuals who are not a legal entity but are associated in fact, and can include nonprofit associations.
Here’s what I’ve been pushing: it’s time to file Racketeering, Influencing, and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) lawsuits.
RICO lawyers could turn it around in a few years and MAKE MONEY at the same time. I’m surprised they haven’t done it already.
In the absence of enforcement, we can get the word out in the meantime that there is money to be made in filing RICO lawsuits against employers who hire illegal aliens like this jerk.
Employers would have no trouble shutting down the border if they could get sued by someone under the RICO statutes for hiring these people in the first place. The next time an illegal alien kills someone in a drunk driving accident or somesuch thing, I’m going to point out that the victim’s family might be able to seek compensation from the employer under these statutes in the hopes that it would catch on. If this did catch on, would see such a swift backlash against illegal immigration that no employer would go near these people and they’ll all simply want to go back home.
