The overweight didnt stand up for my right to smoke on the plane. I just flew to California from DC and back- got back this morning. Handy travel tip: I bought a box of 'step 1' level Nicotine patches for the trip. I put one on the inboard side of each arm, and didn't think about a smoke for the whole trip- I was completely comfortable.
Yes, I need to get off of the darn things, but until I do- that is my solution to the misery of being a smoker in a strict no smoking environment like that for an extended period of time.

I am trying to quit. Well, I did quit for several months, and then got hit with a stressful situation and went right back. It certainly isn't easy.
