I’ll bet it was, this is why whenever possible I fly First Class...:*) I wouldn't do it from Seattle to New York but I fly to Palm Springs 2-4 times a year to see my family and play a little golf. I’s always fun to fly down there because I am always the youngest on the plane, they think I’m the Air Marshall....:*)

When I was in the service, I bought first class airfare from Norfolk, VA, to Amarillo, TX to go home on leave.

I flew from Norfolk to Dallas and changed planes. The flight to Amarillo didn’t have first class, so the stewardess sat me next to her and served the in-flight goodies to me first, then everyone else. When she was done with that, she came back and sat next to me for the remainder of the flight. Now that was really first class.
