“How would like to be behind this fatty trying to squeeze out an emergency exit as the blane burned? “
I’ve seen two of them in the emergency aisle seats who swore to the attendent that “they would have NO problem opening the door and jumping out”

Well, good luck with it. I have to get off of them soon. The Nic patches are a Godsend for traveling, though.

It’s their airline, they should be able to make their own rules, at that’s what my conservative brain tells me.

I have egressed via these doors more than 50 times, it isn't as easy as it looks. Even if Mr. McFatty is on FIRE, he is going to have a very difficult time squirting through the opening.

I sat between a huge fat man and a sorta fat man. I am a small woman. The huge fat man hung over the armrest and bulged under it. The huge fat man was wearing a wool tweed jacket and the heat that was coming from that man, made me feel like I was sitting in front of the fireplace. The sorta fat man didn’t hang over the arm so much but he took up his entire seat and the armrest so that I could not lean over that way. One of the most miserable flights I have ever taken, and yes, huge people should have to buy 2 seats, no one should have to endure a flight like that.

For that kind of money, your company shouldve gotten you a non-smoking flight. All transatlantic flights are now non-smoking... but the poster above was complaining about that.

Southwest announced its policy regarding people who were overweight about five years ago. This isn’t anything new. I used to fly it fairly often, and they provided good service.

Have two sheets of melamine placed 25 apart at the gate, and anyone who cant board without having to turn sideways to slither through has to pay for two seats.I think that you are overestimating the size of airline seats. Most seem to be 17" to 18". Taking into account that people spread out some when they sit, you may need to put those melamine sheets just a tad closer together.

I felt really weirded out and wondered if I should ask the stewardess for another muffin to feed the other oneI know you had a miserable flight but the above statement made me laugh.
I bet you were really happy when you got home.

Solution: Put all those fatties in adjacent seats. Sit them next to each other. Watch the fun!

if they did that, they’d have to give a bigger tip...to the wings!

People ...say over a 100 pds or more may need more room but I think it’s usually more of a “my space” thing for some of us. Even if no one is hanging over the arm rest, I just don’t like being that close to strangers.
