With all the toll roads planned for Texas, where no toll roads have gone before, guess we’ll just have a DPS trooper take the guy off to the side of the road and shoot him.

Don’t much matter what we think about toll roads, so why bother with a judge and the expense of feeding the guy in one of our jails? Just shoot em.

Don’t like Perry’s “toll everywhere” plans, but I have to come to the defense of Texas Highway Patrol. Having had more than a few chances to meet with THP on the side of the road, I have always found these guys to be more than fair and civil. I sure trust them more than some greasy spot in the road small town cop trying to make the city's budget out of my pocket. That's the cops to be wary of.
