Just detected a new phrase on steffi’s show: “former Army Ranger Senator Jack Reed”.
Methinks this will become all one word whenever Reed is on air discussing quitting Iraq.

Just amazing. Steffi’s questions to Reed sound like Steffie is the media consultant for the Dem Senate Armed Services Committee, preparing a press release.

I thought at one time I heard Jack Reed introduced as a former Marine. Did I mishear or has he changed his history?

Reading Reeds bio I suspect he is Ranger qualified, not actually a former Army Ranger. That quite a significant difference a real Journalists, not a reporter repeating a press statement handed them by a Democrat party operative, would of known.

Actually, he just had the phrase added legally to his name.
