It is possible that this is legitimate. The smell of cigarettes gives me migraines, as do certain perfumes. Just the smell alone lingering on a smoker’s clothes and hair is enough to cause a migraine, unless I get away from that person fairly quickly.

Now, instead of firing her, why can’t they let her work with someone who is not sensitive to it, or give her another job within the system? No need to punish her for it.

As someone else pointed out, all they had to do was suggest she get dome Febreeze or some other odor eliminator.

This is probably little more than class warfare. I’m thinking the cigs actually had very little to do with it.
