Data thefts figure in this; campaigns might use stolen names to fill out FEC reports (to hide real sources of funds). I would imagine people like Soros and Mark Rich with far-flung global empires also play this game.
Like plain old voter-roll scams. Interesting. Coincidentally, this morning's news has a story about a massive hack of Ameritrade customer info that goes back to last year and is just now being reported.

Yeah, I read about the Ameritrade data theft few says ago. Watta "coincidence," eh?
The stolen names should be checked againt these other sources.
A good Data Mining program will do the trick.

Even better-----illegals who are fraudulently registered to vote using fake ID's are being outed by the simple act of elections boards sending out jury notices (which are compiled from voter lists).
Such a good way to nail these people.
Illegals not only register to vote with fake ID's, they get on the tax-paid gravy train for all kinds of benefits. That's how they're able to send $50 billion back to their moth-eaten countries every year.
