I think but cannot prove that the real reason the Dems wanted to can Gonzales was that he was investigating corruption successfully. I knew they had extensive investigations in NJ and Ill. Since he resigned they have arrested 11 in NJ and this Hsu came to light.

Probably, the FBI leaked the Hsu story to the WSJ to facilitate their work. A story flushes out witnesses and scares conspirators into suddenly doing something conspicuous. We probably won't know a lot more until they mop the others up.

I would think people with a million dollars to invest would at least have checked this guy a little more. I am sure Clinton did but she doesn’t care where the money comes from as long as it’s Asian sounding and that sob story about her poor associate. If she is so smart why didn’t she realize this sooner?

BS. Hillary is not a victim. The question that should be asked is what did Hsu receive in return for his contributions. Those questions were asked during the Abrahoff scandal, at least of the Rep recipients. Hsu was a conduit for someone and there had to be some quid pro quos involved.

Hillary Clinton was in Atlantic City, NJ 9/7/07 right after the story broke. NJ’s Governor Corzine is also on the list, connected to Hsu.

Don’t forget, also, that Robert Torricelli, “the Torch,” was caught in receiving campaign gifts from David Chang. David Chang also was a campaign gifter to the Clintons. The Torch personally recruited Corzine to run for office after the Torch had to step down from his seat due to his scandal.

Data thefts figure in this; campaigns might use stolen names to fill out FEC reports (to hide real sources of funds).............. morning news reported massive hack of Ameritrade customer info, goes back to last year,just now being reported.

Yeah, I read about the Ameritrade data theft few says ago. Watta "coincidence," eh?

The stolen names should be checked againt these other sources.
