On the second day of sales for her new book, Laura Ingrahams Power to the People is the #1 selling non-fiction book at Barnes and Noble superstores. According to sources at B&N, Ingrahams book is even outselling Bill Clintons massively popular Giving and Rosie O'Donnell's "Celebrity Detox." As of this morning, "Power to the People" reached #1 at Amazon.
"We cant yet predict how high her first weeks sales will be," commented Marji Ross, President of Regnery Publishing (a HUMAN EVENTS sister company), but 'Power to the People' is off to an amazing start.
More than 200,000 copies are already in print, making this one of the largest first printings in Regnerys history, continued Ross.

Laura has a new book?....hmmm, oh yeah, I do recall her mentioning it about 8,000 times in the last two weeks.Do I detect some bunk in your posting? :-)
If you yourself were selling a book that you yourself wrote, something tells me you would would mention it at least 10,000 times in the weeks leading up to its release.

Just remember boys & girls - conservatives don’t read as much as liberals. That’s cause liberals are way smarter.

I like taking another good conservative writer and placing the book on top of anything written by a liberal. Loved it when Hill’s book first came out. I put “Treason” or some other goodie on top of the pile.

I enjoyed putting gum wads in Jimmah Cahtah’s books at B & N.

Good for Laura.
From what I heard the OJ book contains, I am extremely disappointed in the Goldmans. The OJ book contains misinformation and nothing new. OJ is thrilled that he gets the publicity and can now claim to be the best selling author. I cannot imagine why anyone would buy the book. But then some people, albeit not that many, bought the nonbook "written" by Clinton's Monica.

"Then there is the moonbat that will carry the book to lunch but never read it..."It's a lot easier than remembering the secret handshake.

And at B&N it will be shelved under the sales counter out of reach and sight - but they can say they do stock it

Surprisingly enough I found my copy in the People’s
Republic of Vermont (Borders in Burlington) which actually had it on the shelf a week before the scheduled release date
(I was there on Labor Day)
Yeah, talk hosts who write books are sure to mention them all the time on their shows. Howie Carr (Brothers Bulger) is one,
Savage, Hannity, etc.

This is interesting. I might actually pick up a copy, which is a rarity when it comes to political books.

Clintons and Roseys books will get purchased by a lot of libs trying to influence the best seller list, yet they will never take the time to actually read them. There is no need to read them. Everyone knows it's the same old rehashed lefty mythology BS.

I tried to purchase her book on the way home from a visit to a relative in Oahu, Hawaii. Although the Borders' employee on the other end of my phone call was SOOOO nice, and looked at his computer as well as put me on hold to check the shelves, this book just wasn't available yet. I asked him if they received books as early as the mainland bookstores, and he assured me they did. Hmm??? He also said it was going for $35...
MY TAGLINE??? VP DICK CHENEY SAID THIS ABOUT TERRORISM 09 14 07 - LOVE IT!

My local moved Laura to an inconvenient time slot for me.
So, she's pulling a Michael Savage? Is she going to have readings from the book to, and have everybody read to together at the same time?

We'll soon be hearing from the democrats in congress trying enact a fairness doctrine for book sales.

Can’t buy them if we don’t know they are out there. It’s called “advertising”. Must be new to you.

How about “Hell to Pay” on top of Hillary’s book. One of those books is FICTION......
