So, do you think that explains Keyes’ public attacks on Dick Cheney’s daughter as well?
I don’t have any reference that Keyes specifically launched attack or attacks against Cheney’s daughter. One thing is for sure about Keyes, that he is totally against homosexuality and will not hesitate to quote from the Bible for his argument. Knowing this, if I would tell him that my daughter and/or my son is homosexual, and what he has to say about it, his answer probably will be that a homosexual is a selfish hedonist. He said it before. Should I conclude that he hates my child? He condemns only his/her behavior.
Alan made a comment that homnosexuality was immoral and hedonistic. The reporters brought Mary Cheney into it, asking him directly if his comments applied to her. He said yes, by definition.
One can agree or disagree with his comments, but he did NOT attack Mary Cheney. He simply answered a question.
