That’s why mine isn’t signed. I have no problem donating my organs, but only AFTER I’m really dead.

My husband had signed the "organ donation" on his driver's license and I tried to donate his organs after his death. They finally got back to me hours later and told me that only the "long bones" in his extremities would be useful since he was already dead on arrival at the hospital (perhaps 25 minutes).

I will not sign for organ donation since I really don't want them harvested while I am still alive.
