See article in todays WSJ by Robert Holtz, “Most Science Studies Appear Tainted By Sloppy Analysis”. Basically researchers are manipulating the data to meet their preconceived opinions. The supposed peer review is more of the same.

I’ve been saying that for years. The media and academia has convinced the average guys that these “studies” mean something. In reality, they are just an excuse for the academics to spend tax money to proliferate their own preconceived ideas.
