Yup, that’s what I think is happening too. Nice place it seems to be, south Florida. AK-47s.

Renee Dangelo, 26, was in bond court on Friday where the judge set the maximum bond at $50,000. Dangelo was crying as the judge said he could not believe someone would mislead police as she reportedly did, giving detectives a false name for Shawn LaBeet, delaying the investigation. She has been charged with accessory after the fact for harboring LaBeet. On Thursday, Miami-Dade Mayor Carlos Alvarez said the investigation of the shooting of four police officers was hampered after the suspect's girlfriend gave police his alias, sparking a sweeping search for the wrong man. ''She purposely misled and delayed our investigation,'' Alvarez said at a news conference. Dangelo admitted to being in the Miami-Dade house at the time of the shooting. She also admitted lending her car to Shawn LaBeet to flea the area. She is being held at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center.

Brother and Nephew Arrested for Aiding LaBeet
Abstract: Suspected cop killer Shawn LaBeet's brother has been arrested for helping him elude police after Thursday's shooting of four Miami-Dade police officers. Shane LaBeet, 32, was charged with aiding his brother's flight to Broward County, where Shawn LaBeet was later found by a Miami-Dade tactical team and shot dead. Also arrested Friday was Shawn LaBeet's nephew, Jaleel Torres, 22. Torres was charged with resisting an officer with violence as investigators tried to question him about his uncle's whereabouts, said Miami-Dade Police Cdr. Linda O'Brien. They were the fifth and sixth people arrested Friday in connection with the fugitive's attempt to elude capture.

Police also said that Shawn LaBeet had fraudulently purchased six high-powered assault weapons and three handguns between December 2005 and March 2006 under the alias of Kevin Wehner -- a Jacksonville man whose identify he apparently stole. After the shootings Thursday, police seized six weapons they believe belonged to LaBeet -- including the assault rifle they believe he used to shoot the four Miami-Dade officers, one fatally. Also seized was a 9mm handgun found with LaBeet when he was shot dead late Thursday at a Pembroke Pines apartment complex. Police also took four firearms from the house that LaBeet shared with his girlfriend in Southwest Miami-Dade where the shootings took place. Investigators could not immediately confirm that those six seized weapons were among the nine bought fraudulently under Wehner's name.

Labeet's Gun doesn't match Police Reyka Case
Abstract: The Broward Sheriff's Office said Friday afternoon that a 9mm gun found with dead cop-killer Shawn LaBeet does not match the weapon used to kill Sgt. Chris Reyka last month. The 51-year-old father of four was ambushed Aug. 10, 2007 as he looked for stolen vehicles behind a Pompano Beach Walgreens drugstore. He was shot five times.
