LOS ANGELES -- As Sen. Hillary Clinton grapples with the burgeoning scandal surrounding disgraced fund-raiser Norman Hsu, she can't quite shake a fund-raising controversy from her 2000 Senate campaign.
Mrs. Clinton's entanglement with a thrice-convicted felon named Peter Paul is proof of how long campaign-finance problems can haunt a public official. Mr. Paul became a problem for Mrs. Clinton when his criminal past became public shortly after he helped organize and finance a gala Hollywood fund-raiser for her in August 2000.

Peter’s stock manipulation problem happened because the Clinton’s destroyed his company. He was trying to keep the stock price up and did his trades through a broker. The judge in his case acknowledged that Peter did not cause the collapse of his company.
Is Paul, well, ready and willing to dig in?
Yes, civil court gives you your best shot at taking some bark off of that beeyotch, but isn’t going to attract headlines. Take them down during ‘discovery’. I don’t need to tell you that. I’m just thinking wishfully.

Yes, discovery should be very interesting. Howard Wolfson is going to be asked why he lied to the voters on Aug. 15, 2000, telling them that the campaign would take no money from Peter Paul.

The appellate court is deciding whether the California anti-SLAPP law will still protect Hillary and preclude her from being a defendant. That decision should happen very soon. After that, they will set the wheels in motion to begin discovery.
When Hillary says she can’t remember, she will be confronted with video to show things that she couldn’t possibly have forgotten.
Is Paul/Stan Lee Media fronting their own legal fees? The Clintons have a way of buying people off (or burying them). Since Paul is a Democrat, is his heart really in this?

Peter is not a Democrat. He was a friend of Reagan and many of the Hollywood conservatives. His decision to employ Clinton was simply a business decision for the company and shareholders.
Peter has had his legal fees covered through donations to the United States Justice Foundation.
Oh, yes. His heart is really in this. He was once worth 70 mil. The Clintons destroyed his company, his fortune, and his life. He ended up in a Brazilian prison with inmates chanting “burn the gringo” at night.
Buying several copies of the video would be helpful. :)

Those Clintons never know anything until after the fact if it’s not in their interest. Boy, is that story getting old.
Yet, they can find a needle in the haystay, true or not true, if it suits their agenda to corrupt power.
I hope people are paying attention. Here we have a woman and an ex-President who are cheats, crooks, liars and thieves in the worst sense. I also hope they understand that if they will do their enemies; they will do to the rest of us including their friends which I am sure some have found out by now.
In fact, I don’t think they really have any friends; unless they are just like them; and as we all know, who wants a friend like that? If you get my drift.
