The conduct is unacceptable but let’s not get caught up in the moment and ignore reality.

I thought about that after I posted. The ass whoopin was handed to them without benefit of the signals.

LOL...what is an “astrack”? Is that one of those armored vehicles soldiers have to sit in all day to haul their asses around? Maybe the Pats could use that to haul the players around Boston if they win the Super Bowl again...

Seriously...do you really think the Patriots on that play deliberately tried to disable and injure the quarterback?

I really hope he has the Colts on tape

Sorry, don't think you'll find Dungy pulling a trick like Belichick.

Your Fins suck.

They do. Their win-loss record, however, is not the topic of discussion. Bill Belicheat's systematic violation of the NFL's rules on game conduct is the topic.

You can continue to insult the team I root for, or you can grow up and stick to the topic at hand. I suggest the latter, as you're making yourself look like a jackass.

As a fan of your WORLD CHAMPION INDIANAPOLIS COLTS, I say the best and fairest punishment is no post-season play for the Patriots. They should forfeit any post season games for this season. They do this in the NCAA and the NFL should do the same. Cheaters!

You speak your name...

Bledsoe was the big money face of the franchise. Brady was a later round pick who didn’t start until his later years at Michigan. Bledsoe was a Pro-Bowl QB who had been to a SB in his 4th year. Some rookie is going to compete with the starter who just signed a massive contract?

Bledsoe was declining. He had less and less mobility, there was a book on him that said he couldn’t throw to his left and he couldn’t handle pressure up the middle. He like to throw the long ball rather than take what the D was offering.

Brady ran Charlie Weiss’ offense. Weiss had gotten Vinny Testerverde to a Pro Bowl and the Jets came really close to going to a SB in 1999.

You talk like you are really in the know.....

even though you aren’t.

The two gentlemen I pinged can offer informed opinions on Frankenbledsoe...

And your “time” is almost, or is hopefully already, up.

I had a neutral opinion of the Pats when I opened this thread tonight, but reading all you mouthy blowhards has soured me on them big time. They are now on my list, right beside the ridiculous Packers and the even more ridiculous Bert Farv.

Go Vikings! A team whose time I don’t think will EVER come.

No, it is the petty resentment and envy that spills forth from you when it comes to talking about football.

Hey...I have respect for Bledsoe...he was a stand up guy.

Maybe a little too much stand up guy...:)

Anyway, he could read the writing on the wall. Not very mobile, but not a dummy either.

Plenty of Pats fans agree with the punishment rendered and didn’t approve of BB’s actions.

However, if a few people fronting for their team on a website is going to sour you on a team....

well....

Petty resentment? Please point out where I’ve “spilled forth petty resentment,” as you phrase it. I’d love to know what I’ve written that you find objectionable.

As I wrote in post #84, I had nothing but respect for the Patriots team and organization. Today, I have less respect for the organization, but still respect the 53 players they field.

Should have forfeited the first game with the Jets, making them 0-1.

Being a Chargers fan, it makes me wonder about last year’s playoff game with the Pats where they won, i.e. would the outcome have been different? Who knows.

Here’s the question I have, what’s to say the Pats haven’t been sending a spy to tape a team & their signals in advance & then taping again in the current game to make sure they haven’t changed the signals? Belicheck is known as being a genius, if he would go this far to cheat, wouldn’t he be smart enough to go that far? Hmmmmmmm.

Rivers sucked that day and your DB decided to run the ball back instead of taking a knee.

FUMBLE!!!!

Pats go on to win.

Marty screwed the pooch and you know it.

Rather than the draft pick, they should have forfeited the Jets game.
