my condolences go out to all the officers families. my husband is a policeman for the city of key west. my condolences also go to shane labeet and his entire family. i worked with shane in key west until last month. he is a dive instructor and captain of the topmost quality and i feel terrible seeing some of the earlier comments suggesting that he or his family may be in some way linked to a gang or terrorist operation. nobody has the option of choosing their blood relatives, do they? he is one of 19 siblings and cannot be held responsible for his brothers abominable actions. i just had to say something after reading some of the comments in defense of shane labeet. thanks
