Two Miami-Dade police officers have been injured in a so-called Tactical Operation gone bad in Cutler Bay.
This is currently a developing story that began at SW 281st Street and 143rd Court in Cutler Bay where the two officers were possibly shot, reportedly with an assault rifle.
Other officers may have also been hurt but only with minor injuries.
At least one officer has been transported to Jackson Memorial Hospital.
After the shooting, one suspect barricaded himself inside a building at 280th Street and Southwest 143RD Court.
The other suspect took off in a White Honda Accord and began driving on the Turnpike and led police on a short chase before he bailed out at 222nd Street and SW 110th Avenue.
That suspect, described as a chubby white man with long black hair remains on the loose.
Broward County police agencies have been alerted to the shooting of the Miami-Dade Officers.

So I’m surmising that the woman who gave this intentionally misleading info knew what she was doing. There must have been some synchronization between her and LeBeet because the I.D. was found near his car at original crime scene while she kept up the false front with police. In other words, he and she colluded. For what purpose?

Earlier the Miami media said yes. But I'm taking everything with a grain of salt at this point.
Looking out from my window I see a huge cloud of white smoke coming from Bainbridge Island (near the Agate Pass Bridge)... wonder what’s going on there now.

I thought I heard first reports (on FOX) saying the perp was a “white male latino”. Hmmm. Some contrast to the facts.

Three more unconnected sources reporting that mean this was planned, or at least conceived as a possibility almost a year ago.
In any event, the perp (hate to say bad guy since we are not sure of gender) has broken contact, and there are currently no leads being reported.

What is really strange is that, with all that seems to have been planned by this guy, we still don’t know what the end game is. Surely it wasn’t to shoot at police.

I’m not even convinced it was planned. He may be part of a gang that is experienced in throwing off the cops.
OK. just saw the footage of all involved in the man hunt, and...WOW! There are hundreds on this local state and federal. There is a level of desperation in trying to get this guy that I have not seen with the search for other cop killers. Stranger and stranger.
