I'm not sure I'd take Rosenman's word for this since he'd make a much more palatable source for the money than the PLA. Rosenman is a Hillie supporter after all. And I don't have much confidence in any investigation Morgenthau runs. I wonder if the Feds are looking into this angle.
IIRC — Rosenman never came forward with the $40M loss story. It was only after an investor in California complained that his name came up, and he had to answer questions.
