Ever seen the size of our current government and the masses of people who cry (Vote) for more? Too much for my taste and sadly it’s growing.
Founders vision of self government is dying, replaced by “what can the government do for me (Us), what can the government provide for me (Us)”.

Sorry, I have no faith in “the American people” (a phrase I despise about as much as I do “the children” in political speech).
