What is his objection to Olson? What is wrong with these people, they think they can do anything they want?

Reid should worry about the sorry spectacle the Congress made of itself yesterday.

What is his objection to Olson?

The Arkansas Project and his role in the 2000 election are two things that come to mind.

I really hope Bush nominates him just to make them howl.

Reid should worry about the sorry spectacle the Congress made of itself yesterday.

Only very interested people like Freepers will ever know this. On the radio news last night, CBS played only one voice, Hillary Clinton, and quoted two Senators, Hagel and Lugar. No quote of either witness. Most people do not even hear this, but no chance they will hear how disgusting and disrespectful was the behavior of most of the Senators.

The people of Nevada must wake up. He is a disgrace. He cannot handle the power of decision and it seems he is very afraid of his own personal confidence.

What is his objection to Olson?”

First, Olson is a decent, honorable and honest conservative.
Second, He’s Bush’s selection. Third, he’s competent.

Three strikes against him.

Seriously, the GOP aide is right - “They could nominate Pat Leahy and Democrats would fight it,” The better the selection Bush makes, the more they will fight.

Remember when Reagan’s best possible USSC nominee, Robert Bork, went to the Senate?

These crazy Democrats are going to have a fight over it because they have hyper-partisan full-blown BDS.

Let them try. I want to see a party line 49-49 vote then watch Nelson flip and we win by one vote.
