Fred Thompson's strategy so far just ain't going to cut it.

Let me see... One week into his campaign and he's leading Fruity Rooty by 8 points. Obviously his stratagy is flawed.

One week into his campaign and he's leading Fruity Rooty by 8 points.

Well, "Generic Democrat" was leading Bush by an even larger margin early in 2004. Then they had to fill in the blank with the world's most successful Gigolo.

Right now, Fred is enjoying almost total support of those who do not like Rudi, McCain or Romney. He is the Generic Republican.

While I'm sure Fred is far more qualified than Lurch, he will suffer the same fate unless he shows some fire in the belly . . . and soon.
