Yeah, those darned Texans. Hogging up all the rain. Wish they’d send some our way. Of course, so do they.

Just so you know....if you hear “up North” we aren’t talking about NY but the Panhandle area or maybe Dallas.

When I used to drive so often between Houston and Mobile, Lafayette was my half-way mark. A good time to stop, fill-up the gas and eat. (Bump)

This storm will be good news to the drought areas of Mississippi, Alabama and Georgia. Looks like this storm is going pass through some of the worst hit areas of the drought!!!

That radar loop shows the storm is still picking up plenty of moisture from the GOM.

"Looks like this storm is going pass through some of the worst hit areas of the drought!!!" Yup. They're having some historic droughts right in the path of this storm.
It'll be a relief for them.

Hurricanes have traditionally ended droughts in this country.
There was a bad one in the Midwest in 1988, and a hurricane that hit Mexico brought moisture and ended the drought in Minnesota/Wisconsin, as I recall.

You’re reading way too much into my post. It was not meant as a put-down in any form.
