At one time, slavery was considered a state matter. The Constitution shouldn't be used as an excuse to deny people their inalienable, God-given rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. That goes for slavery, abortion, and foreign policy. I've never heard of an unalienable right to foreign policy. Regarding abortion, which right are we talking about, mom's or the baby's. There's a difference of opinion on that.
