What's nuts is that this probably doesn't doom Kilpatrick's future in the Democratic Party. As Mayor, Dennis Kucinich laid waste to the city of Cleveland and he's an internationally known figure now. Alcee Hastings was impeached as a judge and came within a hair's breadth of being given the House Intelligence Committee chair.

As long as Kilpatrick is black and only has extramarital affairs with legal adults, the Dems will have a place for him if he wants one.
