I don’t think Senator Wingert is as popular as he thinks he is in NE anymore.

He was in trouble here when he was the tie breaker on Clinton’s retroactive tax increase. Besides, he hardly ever stepped foot in the state again. He sold his house here and his brother sold the restaurants after he got the job at the New School. Nebraska people don’t like that.

I hope you're right. He also hasn't been on the ballot since 1994.
