Oh NO! XP only. Have to for work anyway, Vista won't run half of our programs.
It's just a plain simple Dell Vostro 1500. Still trying to figure out how to set things up. Haven't quite decided on email addresses and all that garbage. While I love new toys, I am never thrilled about setting up new computers.

Love the intro. All of you people that do this week after week amaze me.
Personally, I am so appreciative of you all doing it.
The race itself is fun itself but this site makes it more exciting because you all tell me what to watch and what is really going on. I now go to my pub and explain stuff to them.
Thanks to all the hosts and participants here.

Anybody gonna throw some meat on the grill this weekend? Once I get over having picked the drivers (oh, the shame of it all) I'm thinkin beer butt chicken, grilled corn and tater salad. Oh, and homemade onion rings. With far sauce. Yep. Should be perfect deck weather this weekend. Now, just maybe mint juleps. Gotta run over to the brother's house and pick some fresh mint. Hey Pete, wanna julep? Chicken?
Onion ring?

Aren’t you a bit far north to be sittin’ on the veranda, drinkin’ mint juleps?

If you can find this stuff, pour it into a stock pot of water and fill it with unhusked corn to let it soak in for an hour before ya put the corn on the grill. (with the husk)
Cook till all sides of the outer husk are burnt.

Just got home from a delicious meal of lousy pizza on the Cruise Ship The Madaket on lovely Humboldt Bay. We were passed in the dark by the Good Ship Minnow.
I took 50 snapshots and perhaps 3 award winning photographs

Jeff Burton and Matt Kenseth on Glen Beck Friday - I missed the time but it’s his usual show I think, check your schedule.
I’m waiting to see if Nancy Grace really is going to investigate the DEI engine problems which is why I was watching Beck. Happily he had on Duncan Hunter which was good.
They had it on the NG coming up Wednesday site page for about a half hour before it was pulled. I imagine someone made a phone call. :)

Coors Light to replace Bud? Coors Light may become the official beer of NASCAR, replacing Budweiser, according to sources, and Coors may also become the new sponsor of what is now the Busch series tour.(Winston Salem Journal)
AND also hearing Coors could be the sponsor of the #01 DEI team in 2008.(9-9-2007)
To: WestCoastGal
No more Bud shootouts?
Guess is will become the Silver Bullet shoutouts.

I spent all day on a roof today and guess what, no rain. Think we would have welcomed a shower or two. LOL
Haven't looked at the storms path yet, long day.
To: NYTexan
I wonder what’s up with Bud, are they pouting?
The last I heard they were going after KK who looks like he should be carded if he went in to buy beer. :)
Tells me a lot that they are out of DEI though. I’m still waiting anxiously to see what’s up with Wrangler, they told me to stay tuned, so I am but it’s agony between all this waiting stuff. Jr and Rick should be ready soon. :)
LOL Silver bullet shootouts just doesn’t have the same ring, but I guess we will get used to it if that’s what it will be.
I wonder what Back In The Day will have to say about all of this in 20-30 years?
To: WestCoastGal; NYTexan
I like the silver bullet shootout thing too, but everyone once in a while, I still say Winston Cup, so i don’t know if I’ll get use to it. ;)

And as NEXTEL departs and Sprint emerges I’m gonna need a whole new set of FR-NASCAR graphics. :(
