To: Tears of a Clown
If you can find a President that can convince the American people that our military is justified in staying in a permanent base in the ME for decades at a cost of $250 billion a year, let me know.

Honestly, have you ever REALLY heard what Giuliani, Huckabee, Romney, or McCain will do on the war on terror? Kudos to Paul for being specific and letting his stuff hang out there while the other candidates repeat talking points and regurgitated soundbites. There's already going to be some drawdown of troops next year anyway per General Paetreus.

Yes, they’ll actually FIGHT it. They’ll take it SERIOUSLY.

Ron Paul will run away at the most crucial point in this war of wills. And he justifies it by saying “well some people have said it would be bad, but what if it’s really good?”

That is a results oriented statement. RP doesn't care about results, get them out now according to him.
