Aw, It’s much, much slower with just the little tiny ants. They can get into mush smaller places, like the tear ducts, way down into the ears. Besides the main purpose is for it to take as long as possible, and with the little ant they can only do a little damage at a time.
Since you sound like you know I will trust you on the ants. Sounds fine to me.
