There was nothing wrong with my response to Clintonfatigued. He came across to me as not caring about the threat that terrorists pose to our schools and as using this topic as an excuse to promote homeschooling. Perhaps he wasn’t guilty of the former but he was certainly was guilty of the latter.
If homeschooling were a practical solution to the terrorist threat, then it would be appropriate to bring it up. But it isn’t. The vast majority of students attend school and are never going to be homeschooled. Therefore, bringing it up in the context of this argument, contributes nothing to it.
No, he didn’t. There was nothing in that response that indicated a callous attitude towards those in schools and what happens to them. That was strictly your own imaginings and a false accusation.
Your comment was not a practical solution to the terrorist threat and therefore no more appropriate. For that matter, many of the comments on this thread don’t fit that category either but you didn’t go after them. That just makes it look like you’re picking a fight, which also has no relevance to this thread.
And it is another reason to homeschool. Too bad if you don’t like it.
