Not kidding about this. They will blame Bush. They will cite their public pronouncements in which they said we were less safe now than before 911. They will claim we have been involved in a useless war when we could have been protecting our kids here.
All that you said is true, but I would say they (the anti war crowd, in Congress and out)will blame the war and call it Muslims revenge for it. It will be Bushes fault, our fault, not the Islamists.
Well, it is his watch. Can we revile him about his lack of resolve to build the fence to keep hordes from entering and out of the same mouth praise him for a poorly run war? When I step back and stop compartmentalizing these issues, I see a different picture.
