When I think of this scenario, I have a plan, but I fear I would first have to fight my way through the local police.
Hit them before they can set all of their dead man switches. I think kids should be taught to run and scatter. It sounds like pandemonium, but the terrorists count on a structured servile response, which will allow them the highest death count.
I completely agree with all of your points. Not the way we’re used to doing things in the civilized world...we need to realize before it’s too late that we are not dealing with a civilized enemy.
I agree. I understand the concern about not increasing the death count by not going in, but Breslin showed us that they’ll kill anyway. Better take them out and hope for the best, than let THEM control the situation and almost guarantee a higher death count.
I think you are right.
I have also told my classes . . . that should such a situation occur . . . I will draw the attention of the attackers to myself. And I expect the exMarines and other such in the class to then immediately take as great an advantage of my distracting the Jihadi’s as possible.
This era is an era for courage and decisive wise Godly action . . . not for cringing wimps.
DfU, I lived near Columbine when it happened and I’ve often thought about just the scenario you mention. Had my sons been in that school, I thought at the time that I’d have been mowed down as I tried to go in (heavily armed) to get my boys while the police waited. Virginia Tech made me think the same thing.............
