Unfair. At Budyonnosk the Russians stormed several times and made a complete mess of things. They were no doubt trying to resolve Beslan with negotiations.
And I will add that it is unlikely we will ever face the genius of Basayev in this country, nor the utter sadism of chechen terrorists.

At this point, it is my belief that every able bodied American of voting age and no criminal tendencies should be armed and allowed to have an AK stash at home.
BTW the reason for killing All and burning every Quoran is historical.

WASHINGTON — The FBI has issued an “informational bulletin” to state and local officials saying to watch out for people tied to extremist groups trying to earn licenses to drive school buses.
The Associated Press reports that members of the unnamed extremist groups have succeeded in gaining the drivers licenses, but a Department of Homeland Security official told FOX News that “at this time there is no evidence that any of these individuals have got these jobs, or got hold of school buses.”
“There is no plot. There is no threat. And parents and children can feel perfectly safe,” FBI spokesman Richard Kolko told FOXNews.com.
If I were a peaceful Muslim, I’d be hastily forming a break-away religion. I’d call it “Mohamed’s true religion” or some-such thing. Then I’d start screaming as loud as I could about “those lousy Islamists! Horrible Muslims!”
Well, if the muslims don’t go through a reformation in the near future, it’s going to get extremely ugly.
Let me sum it up for all police departments. Don't rely on them. Arm yourself, and be ever vigilante.

Somehow, I don't think so. Before the next morning the media will be calling for harsh penalties for anyone committing the hate-crime of calling muslims on their complicity; and of course law enforcement will be all over that bandwagon.
