“Splattered”?? As in oops, I dropped my milkshake and it splattered on the WALL? There is too much of the substance for that.

And some comments I saw about a lawn mower may have had a leak and sprayed the WALL. Highly unlikely. The pattern at the bottom would have been more elongated due to the force of being ejected, not rounded as if sprayed from above.

Too, had something dripped from above, why is there no indication of any substance on the top two thirds of the Wall?

If it were a small engine, such as a gas powered edger, etc. it would probably be two-cycle, which is just oily gas. That would be light enough that if said wind blew it into the wall at the bottom, I would imagine we would see some near the top.

I understand recognizing the fact that there is no definitive proof that it was vandalism. I don’t understand the need to conjure up scenarios in order to explain away vandalism. (Not you, but the posts you referred to, T.)
